James Jenkins of Hope Christian High in New Mexico, representing Team Ardor, won the boys 60-meter dash and high jump, in addition to placing third in the 200 meters at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Open at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Jenkins clocked 7.23 in the 60 and ran 23.34 in the 200, in addition to clearing 6-0.25 (1.83m) to prevail in the high jump at the first high school indoor competition at the Albuquerque Convention Center since the 2020 Great Southwest Indoor meet.
